Yandex, which is Russia’s largest search engine and has more than 56 million users worldwide, was founded in 2000 by Arkady Volozh, Arkady Borkovsky, and Ilya Segalovich.
Yandex has plans to expand globally and has made country expansions to compete with Google. Currently, it provides services in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Turkey, in addition to Russia.

With its plan to expand to the world, Yandex started its broadcasting life in Turkey with the office it opened in Istanbul in September 2011. Seeing Turkey as a large market, Yandex has published many advertisements, including TV, radio, newspaper, and internet advertising. Yandex, whose slogan is “Find Everything,” provides many services to its users such as live traffic information, panoramic maps, news, mail, data storage, and weather.
